The both charts provides give information about monthly bookings by seven different – language class, book club, live music, yoga and fitness, quizzes, dance groups and other groups – on leisure time from 2018 to 2022, as well as percentage of booking at different times of the day in 2022.
Overall, while the figures for book club, dance groups, quizzes, other groups, especially language class significantly increased, those for yoga and fitness unchanged, while live music dramatically decreased. Most bookings in 2022 happened in the evening, especially between 6 PM and 9 PM, showing that people preferred evening activities at the leisure center.
The bar chart shows how often different groups booked activities at a leisure centre in 2018 and 2022. Live music became much more popular, with bookings increasing from about 15 to 30 per month. Dance groups also saw a rise, going from around 10 to 20. On the other hand, bookings for quizzes and book clubs dropped slightly. Activities like language classes and yoga stayed nearly the same over the years.
The pie chart shows the times of day when bookings were made in 2022. The busiest time was in the evening, between 6 PM and 9 PM, which accounted for 45% of the total bookings. The next most popular time was 3 PM to 6 PM, with 25%. Fewer people booked in the morning, with 6 AM to 9 AM and 9 AM to 12 PM making up just 9% and 5%, respectively. Midday hours were chosen by 16% of the people.
