The map illustrates the central library plan for today and how it looked like 20 years ago. In general, there are many differences in rooms and new added features, while the main structure didn’t change over this time
Delving into the details, The room sections changed its functions, Children’s books, for instance, relocated into the section where CD, videos and computer games were stored. Moreover, sofas have been appended and the room itself became slightly wider.
Also, adult fiction books ,that was in the middle of two west rooms, was displaced into the opposite side of the corridor; new structures such as information desk and self service machines have been attached in 20 years, while Enquiry desk and children’s books were replaced by Cafe and lecture room respectively. However, the reading room was displaced by Comuter room, while tables and chairs used to be located in the center of the library nowadays in not in use.
