The graph shows the number of male and female students studying IT at university from 1985–2015. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The line graph compares two genders in terms of learning IT at university in a thirty-year period, from 1985 to 2015.
Overall, it can be seen from the graph that the number of both male and female learners raised over the years, but the latter experienced a slight decrease by the end.
Starting from 1985 to the year 2000, the number of male students were much higher than females, specifically between 5,000 and just under 20,000. However, in 2000, females doing a degree in IT exceeded and reached exactly 20,000. Over the next five years, particularly between the years 2000 and 2005, the digits of females rose and attained 28,000.
Nevertheless, in 2005 the figures of males outnumbered females again and started to increase until the end of the year, eventually scoring 40,000 in 2015. The number of female students majoring in IT started to decrease in 2010 until the end of the period, from 32,000 dropping to 29,000.
