Overall, it can be seen that there were remarkable go up trends in the numbers of tourists who are from France and Spain, while the amount of visited travellers from Italy experienced a slight increase over the period. Another interesting point is that none of them saw a drop during a decade.
Looking at the details, as regards France, it started at 50 million people in 2000, then there was a sharp increase between 2000 and 2006 which reached at 80 million travellers. After that, the figure again went up gradually, finishing at 90 million in 2010. If we look at Spain tourists, the trend was almost similar. During 2 years, there was a marginal rise at around 44 million and then it soared untill reaching st 70 million in the final year.
Despite the fact that the number of Italian visitors improved strikingly, it was the fewest one among others. Meanwhile, it also grew from 30 million to 40 million.
