Overall, it is readily apparent that cars are the most preferred mode of transportation in the UK, the USA, and Italy, while in France, bicycles are more favored. Additionally, motorcycles are the least popular mode of transport in all nations except the USA.
When it comes to car preferences, Italians showed a more pronounced disparity than their counterparts, with a staggering 74 % while the figures are identical at 60 % in the UK and the USA. The car’s popularity among young individuals in France is lower than in the aforementioned countries, at just 40%. Bicycles are also common in all countries, with French people showing noticeably higher figures at around 45 %, followed by 30% in the UK, and considerably lower numbers in Italy and the USA, with both at around 10%.
In the United States, motorcycles are even more favored with 30% of young individuals preferring this mode of transport. In contrast, the figures for motorcycles in the UK, France, and Italy, demonstrate lower percentages, with only 10, 11, and 9 % respectively.
