The process illustrates how sugar is made.

The process gives information on the production of sugar attained from sugar canes. Overall, the process involves 7 steps that can be grouped into 3 separate stages: collecting, liquidizing and crystallizing. Notably, sophisticated equipment and workforce are required to complete the process.
Initially, the process begins with the sugar cane becoming ripe over 12-18 months. Once the sugar cane is ripe, they are harvested either with the help of tractors or using manual labor.
In the second stage, the previously harvested canes go through a squeezing procedure using a particular mechanism which gets all the juice out of canes. After that, the juice needs to be filtered with the usage of limestone filter, which removes all the debris and impurities. Subsequently, the sugar syrup is obtained after being exposed to heat.
At the final stage, the special apparatus called centrifuge is used to acquire crystals from crystal extracted earlier. The last step is drying and chilling the sugar crystals in a special container, thereafter they are ready for cooking purposes.
