The maps illustrate the changes that have taken place in Beechwood Farm since 1950. Overall, the farm was mainly agricultural in the initial year, without any facilities. However, the farm became more visitor-friendly, with the introduction of a camping field and holiday cottages.
As to the details, there was a road to the north-west, and a river to the south and a track field positioned opposite to the river. All these items acted as barriers for produce fields. Near the road, fruit trees were planted, adjacent to which soft fruits and vegetables were grown. The farm also had chickens, a farmhouse, and a barn to the right bottom corner of the map, while the north-east boasted sheep.
The farm has introduced new facilities for visitors by the present day. Sheep no longer exists in the area, and previous sheep field has now divided into two separate sections, with solar panels and the camping field being positioned, and each has a parking lot. The track has also been converted into a road, with the barn being moved to an intersection of the road near the chickens. One final addition has been the holiday cottages which are located in the area that was once occupied by the barn.
