band 5.5 essay

As people evolve, the demand for oil and gas is significantly increasing ,thus we should embrace the exploitation of remote areas. I believe that exploring and utilizing these sources from suburb areas can create wide range of employment opportunities, it also comes with its negative effects, such as leaks of gas and spills of oil may lead to the pollution and deforestation in these particular areas and also on the communities that reside there. Unemployment is major problem for numerous nations and exploitation of remote areas can create employment for many people. Which means, it can decrease the unemployment and boost the economy. Saudia arabia, for instance, which produces the triple of oil and gas worldwide, and also considered one of the countries which has low figure of unemployment with sustainable paychecks. Pollution and deforestation are also serious issue for many countries. Exploitation in remote areas require huge amount of money in order to clean up the spills of oil. Gas leaks, on the other hand is extremely risky and may even gradually lead to the deaths of individuals that dwell in these specific areas, if these sources are taken with negligence. Therefore not everyone may satisfy with the result of sources taken from remote areas. Instead government should focus on enlarging the renewable sources ,such as solar panels and wind power, not only these sources are renewable, they are also environmentally friendly. In conclusion, i believe exploitation has its benefits in terms of employment, but it can be exceptionally risky and hazardous for the people that live in those areas. Thus government should concentrate on encouraging citizens to invest more on renewable resources.
