The graphs provide dates about the percentage of doctors ‘ gender and place of birth and their numbers in 1986 , 1996 and in 2006 in Australia .
Overall, it is clear that , the biggest number of doctors recorded kn 2006. Among them male specialists made up the largest proportion in 1986 and the biggest proportion of doctors was born in Australia .
Turning on the details , as time went by the number of medical workers increased from 23720 to 35450 in given periods in Australia . The percentage of male doctors fell from under 80% to nearly 60% in 1986 and 2006 . In contrast,share of famale doctors increased from about 25% to 40% at the same periods .
As far their place of birth, doctors was born in 1986 with 65% and dropped to 60% in 1996 in Australia . Their share of place of birth grew from 40% to 45% in overseas . Percent of place of birth was recorded at the same level accounting for 50% in both Australia and Overseas.
