Avoiding parking problems is also highly appreciated by 15% of people who opt to ride bicycles to their workplaces. Similarly, financial savings and speed dominance in comparison to cars are also popular motives for cyclists, with respective figures of 13% and 12% of individuals preferring them.
Regarding car motives, convenience is of great importance for drivers to choose cars, with a staggering 40% of responses. Traveling distance to work is also a favorite reason, but not as popular as comfort. Having to deal with carrying items to work and being faster than bikes show similar figures, both of which account for 14%. And finally, safety over cycling makes up a mere 11 % of respondents claiming that it is a key factor.
