The diagram illustrates the detailed process of recycling plastic bottles and converting them into practical, reusable products. Overall, the process comprises three main stages: the initial collection and preparation of plastic bottles, the recycling process itself, and, last but not least, the production of recyclable goods. The entire procedure is highly complex, predominantly machine-driven, and requires minimal human input.
Initially, humans discard plastic bottles to the dumb before they are collected by trash trucks to dispatch them to the factory. Upon arrival to the facility, employees have to sort them manually, requiring careful tactics, in turn. Following this, hand-picked plastic bottles compressed into blocks and crushed into manageable plastic pieces. Having been grinded, plastic pieces are washed so as to remove any impurities.
In the next stage, it is specialized machinery that produces plastic pellets. Whereupon they are subjected to heating process aiming at smooth melted pellets to shape raw materials. Subsequently, many new products are manufactured from raw materials, namely reusable plastic bags, containers, stationary, as well as clothes along the way.
