Some people think that smoking should be banned in all public places. Do you agree or disagree?

Smoking is arguably one of the most detrimental and common habits in nearly all nations. Thus, some individuals believe that smoking have to be prohibited in all public venues. I agree with this suggestion, since passive smoking not only damages the health of a smoker, but also other people, too.
It is significantly proven that smoking is a risky habit, so it worsens the overall fitness level of smokers, potentially making them less productive. Regular smoking can result in some extreme consequence, especially leading to lung cancer, which, in turn, can result in death. Smoking is currently a habit among more than a billion people in the world, meaning that many of these people suffer from the effects of smoking mentioned above. Therefore, to help these people lead healthier lives, banning smoking in public locations should be necessary.
It is important to mention that smoking is a detrimental habit that can damage those who do not even smoke. It happens as people inhale the smoke unknowingly, which is similarly harmful as smoking itself. People in public venues including young generation, one of the most vulnerable parts of our society, and pregnant women, can also suffer from the secondhand smoke, meaning there has to be a total ban. Public venues ranging from parks to schools must be essentially protected, to ensure that more people are leading healthy lives. Without a ban of this sort, more innocent lives could be damaged
In conclusion, I firmly believe that smoking is indeed risky habit that has personal and societal consequences. To make sure that individuals and communities have access to maintain the balance of healthy lifestyles, smoking must be prohibited in each public location.
