The pie charts illustrate a breakdown of volunteers by six types of organizations in 2008 and 2014. These types include the environmental, art, sport, healthcare, educational and others.
Overall, the numbers of volunteers in educational organization was the largest proportion in the initial year, whereas in contrast this figure altered to sport one in 2014. The environmental and healthcare corporations saw the most substantial growth in number of volunteers, becoming more significant factors. Conversely, art and other organizations experienced decrease in their percentages.
In 2008, 21% of volunteers were attributed to the environmental company, however, by 2014 this figure increased to 29%, making it the dominant sector. Sport organisation, in 2008 accounted for 15% of total number of helpers and rose significantly by 10% more (25%). The third organisation also saw a little rise, increasing from 7% to 8%.
The educational group, by contrast, experienced remarkable drop. It’s share of numbers of supporters almost halved, decreasing from 24% in 2008 to 17% in 2014. There were similar drops but numbers were different, in two organisations- art and others- falling from 18% to 12%, and from 15% to 9%, respectively.
