This figure staged a recovery to 33 million becoming dominant in the last year . Regarding the households earning less than $25,000 were 25 million in initial year , after which it increased to 28 million in 2011 . Then it remained stable by the end of the period. Similarly, the household income $25,000-$49,999 had a starting point of 27 million initially, followed by a marginal growth to 28 million by 2015 .
With respect to numbers of households incomes $50,000-$74,999 and $75,000-$99,999 kept a somehow different change. The figure for former income was over 20 million, while the latter stood at 14 million in 2007 . However, the household earning $50,000-$74,999 remained relatively stable during the period, highlighting no major changes by the end of the period. The figure for households earning $75,000-$99,999 hovered around 15 million during the whole period.
