The line graph illustrates the medium monthly alteration and the prices of three different metals, namely : copper, nickel and zinc during 2014.
Overall, it is evident that the prices of copper and nickel exhibited a downward trend, with the exception for zinc, which increased. Moreover, the figure of nickel exhibited a dramatic decrease throughout the timeframe.
Focusing on the increase firstly.The price of zinc started at 1% in January, and then grew noticeably to 3% by February, which was its peak of all time. In addition, there was observed a marked decline to -1% in June. Furthermore, the figure of zinc leveled off from July till September at 0.5%. As well as, it recovered from – 1% in October to 2% by the final month.
At the same time, the figures of nickel and copper started at varying degrees with respective figures for 6% and 2% in January. Additionally, the percentage of nickel underwent a marked fall to -3% in June, but then recovered to 1% in December. Meanwhile, the proportion of copper dropped to 0.5% in March. There was a considerable rise to 1% in July, and then before increasing to 1.5% in December, the percentage of copper experienced a marginal decrease from 1% to 0.5% in December
The essay is logically organized and presents a clear overview of the information. The use of cohesive devices is effective, and there is a good balance between the description of the three metals.
