The bar chart compares four various countries in terms of their rice production capacity yearly in the years: 1995, 2005, and 2015, measured in million tons. Overall, producing rice in all countries witnessed a rise throughout the entire period – albeit to varying degrees – with the exception of country C. it is also evident that country A was dominant in the domain of growing rice in all years, with it seeing a constant increase.
Looking at the countries where the highest amount of rice produced, country A emerged as the biggest rice producer where 45 million tons were grown in 1995, distantly followed by country B, at more or less 35 million tonnes. After a decade, both countries saw an increase, despite differently, and their figures came to an equal at approximately 46 million tons. The figure for the former had experienced a further growth to exactly 50 million tons, maintaining its dominance by the end. By contrast, the opposite was observed in the latter country, declining to well over 40 million tons in 2015.
Regarding the remaining data, starting at merely 2 million tons in 1995, the amount of producing rice in country D levelled off for 10 years, before witnessing a two-hold rise to around 4 million when the timeframe was over. However, country C was the only one where the amount of rice produced dropped over the period, from about 4 million to 3 million tons, with a peak roughly 5 million tons in 2005.
