In the initial year just over 30% of people in 55-64 age group used the internet everyday and this was followed by a slight increase of about 10% one year later. In 2005 this figure stayed almost stable, before increasing noticeably to just over 2 in 4 in 2006. The proportion of adults aged over 65 using the internet was under tenth, but this was followed by a marginal increase to 20% in 2005.
