The bar graph illustrates data about the most popular activities which children of various ages in the USA tend to do as part of their bedtime routines.
Overall, the chart has five different activities in three age stages generally from 1 to 8 years old. Another interesting point is that reading before going to sleep is the most popular routine among all ages.
As regards reading, the highest proportion showed children aged 4-5 years with 70%. 1-3 years old and 6-8 years old children are around 65% and 58% relatively. Second the most interesting activity is brushing for children at the age of 4-5 and 6-8 years with the percentage 45% and 50% in turn. However, infants interest on it is not as high as others.
If we look at watching TV and eating, their rate is the lowest ones among all ages. For instance, their share is around 15-20% in watching TV and 10-20% in eating. In terms of having a bath routine children are competent and are used to doing it relatively a lot. But their popularity is as twice lower as reading books with approximately 35-40%.
