The bar chart shows the amount of energy generated by wind in four countries from 1985 to 2000

The bar chart shows how the amount of energy generated from wind changed in different countries namely India, Denmark, Germany and the US between 1985 and 2000. Overall, all the countries mentioned saw their energy production from wind increase with the rate of growth being more noticeable in Denmark. Additionally, the US exhibited consistently higher figures during the period with the exception of the final year.
Focusing on countries with a higher rate of growth, about 21 MW energy was generated in Denmark in 1985, slightly more than India, at 21 MW. After 5 years, this difference became a bit pronounced, when the figure for the former rose to 420 MW and that for India increased to 400 MW. In 1995, Denmark experienced significantly faster growth compared to India, producing around 1200 MW and 800 MW. The amount of production of energy in Denmark and India continued their trajectory in 2000, reaching their respective highs of 1600 and 1200 MW.
The US and Germany, on the other hand, displayed a relatively smaller rate of changes. In 1985, the US generated 1200 MW energy, it was three times more than Germany. In the next decade, this gap decreased, representing 750 MW and 1550 MW. After that, the US observed a slight decline to 1550 MW, however Germany improved further to 850 MW in the final year.
