In 2003, the number of burglaries stood at just under 3,500 incidents, making it the most common crime at the time. This figure rose moderately to about 3,600, marking the peak for this category. However, by 2008, burglaries had decreased sharply to approximately 1,200 incidents, a reduction of around 2,400 cases. From 2008 onwards, the number remained relatively stable, hovering around 1,200 incidents until the end of the period.
Car theft, on the other hand, began at nearly 2,800 incidents in 2003 and showed little change over the next three years. By 2006, it had surpassed burglary, reaching around 2,200 incidents. Although the number of car thefts increased steadily until 2010, peaking at just over 2,500, it declined slightly by 2012 to finish below 2,500 incidents.
Robbery consistently recorded the lowest number of incidents throughout the period. In 2003, there were about 700 cases, and this figure declined marginally to around 600 by 2012. Unlike burglary and car theft, robbery showed no dramatic fluctuations over the nine years.
