Moreover, people working in the government sector earned the highest salaries, followed by those working as freelance consultants.
Students opting for full-time jobs after finishing their undergraduate degree courses accounted for the largest figure at just over half, whereas there was a small disparity between the proportions of part-time workers and unemployed graduates at 15% and 12%, respectively. Graduates who chose full-time postgraduate study and those whose destination was unknown each accounted for 8%, while the remaining 5% represented those who worked part-time while pursuing postgraduate study.
According to the salaries of anthropology graduates after half a decade, private companies paid $25,000–$49,999 to 10% of employees, which was double the proportion in both the government sector and freelance consultancy. An almost similar trend was observed for the $50,000–$74,999 bracket, with private companies taking the lead at 35%. Regarding the $75,000–$99,999 range, freelance consultants dominated at 40%, followed by government workers and private companies at respective shares of 30% and 25%. Finally, in terms of earning $100,000 or more, government employees ranked first at 50%, followed by freelance consultants at 40%, while private companies had the smallest share at 30%.
