The bar chart illustrations about the amount of wheat, barely, rice, and other grains harvested in India, the USA and China in the year 2001. Overall, what stands out from the charts is that the amount of production produced the least by Indian people while the USA and China had significantly higher outputs. Notable, wheat was the low produced grain all countries.
The USA harvested about 3.5 million tonnes of wheat while India produced just over 1 million tonnes and China harvested just under 3 million tonnes. As for barley, India had the smallest yield at about 1.5 million tonnes whereas the USA produced the largest amount approximately 7.3 million tonnes. China harvested 6.5 million tonnes of barley while it produced 6 million tonnes of rice . India harvested only 1 million tonnes of rice compared to 5 million tonnes in the USA. As regarding other grains, India and USA stood similar quantities 9 million tonnes each while Indian’s output remained just under 2 million tonnes.
