The diagrams below show the stages and equipment used in the cement-making process, and how cement is used to produce concrete for building purposes
The graph shows the process of making cement and concrete. And how cement is necessary in order to make concrete for building purposes. Overall, cement-making processes have 4 main stages. Meanwhile, concrete is a mixture of ready materials.
As can be seen from the 1st picture, making cement is a long lasting process and it starts with crushing 2 stones namely limestone and clay. This procedure requires a special machine named crusher. Next step is mixing crushed powder. And afterwards the mixture is going to be heated by a tube in the rotating heater. Next step is a grinder which shreds the heated powder. Eventually, the cement is ready and it is going to be packaged into bags.
The second process begins with having the right percent of ingredients for the purpose of making concrete. This procedure requires 4 components starting with adding sand which is about 25% of ready concrete. Then adding small stones mostly named gravel and this is 50% of finished material. Afterwards adding cement which takes 15 percent of the ready mixture. Finally adding water and mixing everything together in the concrete mixer.
The essay presents information in a logical order but lacks clear transitions between some stages.
