The line graph illustrates the number of students of both genders studying IT at university over at 30-year period from1985 to 2015. Overall, the number of boys and girls studying IT started to increase significantly in the middle of the period.
In the early years the proportion of male students increased slightly until 1995. However, after this year, the statistics of male learners increased dramatically and continued to rise until the end of the period.
In a different perspective the number of female students studying IT increased marginally. Starting in 1990 was a substantial growth until reaching approximately 30,000 by 2005. Subsequently between 2005 and 2010 the growth was picked up. Nevertheless, there was a slight decrease until the end.
According to the line graph the number of both gendres of students studying IT at university is almost similar. The main difference between them is decrease the number of female students over the end of the period
