The increasing frequency of satellite launches and space debris is becoming a threat to the earth. What are the main causes? What measures can be taken to address this?

The increasing number of satellite launches has led to a rise in space debris, and becoming a threat to our planet. This issue is caused by more trash left into the space, and potential collisions. To address this, better technology, stricter rules, and global cooperation are needed to enhance safety of space activities. Hence, in this essay, i will explain the consequences and solution for them.
There are several reasons that leading to the rise in frequency of satellites. Firstly, countries and companies are sending many satellites into space with the intention of fostering communication, internet, and research about other planets and weather as well. For instance, companies like SpaceX have launched thousands of small satellites as part of their Starlink project, aiming to provide high-speed internet globally. In addition, currently there is tons of trash in the space, because companies left their old, broken or disused satellites, creating trash in space. As well as, these small pieces of metal or trash circuit around the earth and make a barrier for potential satellites, which increase the level of collisions, making the problem even worse.
To solve these problems, several measures can be installed. Firstly, the government need to make strict regulations, such as removing satellites after using them, to prevent leftovers of trash and pieces of metals. Secondly, countries and private companies should share data and work to reduce space traffic. For example, two big companies, Nasa and Space X may collaborate together and keep the researchs together in the space. Finally, we might use cutting-edge technologies to clean the space trash, such as robots or huge nets that can collect trashes and avoid accidents.
In conclusion, with stricter rules and global teamwork, we can easily minimise the risk of space debris and collisions.
