The line graph compares three countries: Colombia, Japan and Myanmar in terms of their clothing exports from 1990 to 2013. Units are measured in millions of dollars.
Overall, in each countries: Myanmar, Japan and Colombia, the exported clothing products experienced both upward and downward trend. Of particular note is textile export in Myanmar, which sharply increased and surpassed other countries by 950 millions of dollars until 2011 and showed a slight decline afterwards.
The figure for these countries: Colombia and Japan, apart from Myanmar, saw a slight improvement. The export of clothing in Colombia peaked at 450 millions of dollars in 1990, followed by a 200 millions of dollars improvement in costs in 2012 and provided a small reduction in the final year. The proportion for the textile exports in Japan declined from about 590 millions of dollars to 520 millions of dollars. The Japan’s closing export declined rather than its proportion in 1990, albeit with some fluctuations.
Furthermore, despite the initial dominance and an upsurge in price, Myanmar declined dramatically until 2013, being the only category that finishing at the smallest figure at 450 millions of dollars. Myanmar, meanwhile, reached the peak and surpassed other figures in between 2000 and 2010. By comparison, each figure changed respectively, showing slight and sharp improvements from the initial value, thereby some of them are retained its position throughout. Moreover, Japan and Colombia demonstrated their amount of price, between 400-600 millions of dollars, in 1990, while third country provided 800 millions of dollars. However, these figures finished differently from their initial costs, Colombia at 610, whereas Myanmar was at 450 and Japan was at 500.
