The line graph shows the proportion of total exports of clothing in 4 countries in 2000 and 2014.

The line graph gives information about the amount of clothes exported by four major market leader regions namely China, Europe Union, Asia (without China) and the USA, over a 14-year period, from 2000 to 2014.
Although overall there were some fluctuations, Europe Union and Asia experienced a declining trend, while exports in China rose considerably overtaking two market leader continents to become by far the most exported country; the figure for the USA declined somewhat though remained the lowest in terms of trading clothes throughout.
At the beginning of the 21st century European community was leading the market of exports in the field of clothes with one-third of all exports. However, the figure decreased steadily for the whole period, ending 22% in 2014. While the gap between the European Union and Asia remained the same in 2000 and 2014, Asia mirrored exactly the opposite pattern to reach this disparity. Despite an initial sharp to 17 %, it had gained 3 percent an increase by 2014.
In contrast, the amount of exports in China climbed from 14% in 2000 and took the lead from 2008 onwards. It had increased at the same considerable pace throughout the whole period and peaked at 36% in 2014.
The least amount of clothes consistently was exported from the USA, beginning at 11%, then dropping to approximately 7%. While it was the lowest, it remained relatively stable for the majority of the period
