The maps show the transformation of a village called Ryemouth between 1995 and today. Overall, the village has saw a significant modifications. It used to serve more people in 1995, however in the present village’s capacity has slightly increased with new aminities, such as sport ground and apartments.
In 1995,the village offered limited facilities. Fishing port can be found in southern of the village, while farmland and forest park were located on the noth-eastern of the village. There were also small number of housings on the corner, and a shop was near the sea.
Since now, the village has significantly modificated. The most notable change has been expansion of the housings which numbers have doubled. Although the fishing port cut off and fish market has changed into apartments. Interestingly, the hotel and cafe have preserved their original position, where among the road. Furthermore, new features also have included, like car park has builded in the next to the hotel, similarly the forest park has been converted into tennis court, just under the golf area.
