Overall, one can see that the Spanish city of Castellon has been modernized a great deal with many areas having undergone considerable to urbanization. It is a clear that the city has become more residential and recreational with the introduction of a new hall of residence, bars and clubs. Furthemore, the university was not exposed to any key changes during the period.
Focusing on the 2000 plan, there was the city center in the middle of the city with an old market to the left and the train station located to the top left. The north side of city was dedicated for university next to which was a leafy environment. The port was occupied in the south side of city. Additionally, there was a car road that linked to the west and the east.
Since then, the Spanish city of Castellon witnessed major transformations. The old market has been replaced by a new shop. The police station has been built, which resulted in the disappearance of an old train station, with constructing a new train station to the left and the hall of residence to the top corner. While the university has been remained intact, the green space has been transformed into a new shopping center. Moreover ,there are cinema , bars and clubs in the north side of city. Where the car road stood, now is only pedestrisans path. Other alterations include the introduction of tramline, airport (under construction), a new covered market and adding the bike rental scheme to the city center.
