The plan below show a natural history museum in 2010, and the same museum in 2013

The two maps illustrate the layout of a natural history museum in 2010 and the changes made by 2013. Overall, the museum underwent significant developments, becoming more visitor-friendly with the addition of a shop, café, and an Ice Age exhibition, while the garden was removed to accommodate these new facilities.
In 2010, visitors entered the museum through the entrance at the bottom, with a ticket desk located on the left. To the right of the entrance was a garden, while the Ocean Hall occupied the northern section of the museum. The left side consisted of a Mammals Hall, located behind the Dinosaur Hall, which was adjacent to the ticket desk.
By 2013, the museum had experienced several notable changes. The Dinosaur Hall and Ocean Hall remained largely unchanged. However, the Mammals Hall was relocated to the eastern part of the museum, making room for a newly added Ice Age exhibition, which also featured an area for insects. Significant transformations occurred on the right-hand side of the museum. The garden was replaced by a café, a shop, and a Human Origins Display Hall, making the space more functional and informative for visitors.
Overall, while the central and northern parts of the museum remained intact, the eastern and western wings saw significant alterations aimed at enhancing visitor experience by introducing additional facilities and new exhibitions.
