The plans below show a harbour in 2000 and how it looks today. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The images compare the layout of Porth Harbor in 2000 and the alterations that have taken place ever since.
Overall, the port now has become more modern, with various new features being added and existing ones reconstructed and renovated.
In 2000, the port had had two separate areas for car park (one in the southwest and the other in northwest side next to showers & toilets). Lifeboat could be accessed via the road coming from the Main Road. Next to it had been an obsolete and disused Castle, featuring a public beach next to it in the northeast. There had been a dock for ships to stay to the north of the port, next to which was another public beach. Finally, fishing boats and private yachts had had rectangular-shaped areas separately.
At present, although there has not been any notable changes to car parks, a new building has been erected for showers & toilets. The areas for fishing boats and private yachts has been swapped now. In the place of the dock, there are now two instead, which can occupy even more ships and also passenger ferries. Next to a lifeboat lies a new building for cafes & shops. Finally, the old castle has now been turned into a hotel with the old public beach now belonging to this place.
