the plans show a village in the UK in 2000 and now

The two maps show the main changes which have taken place in a village of the UK since 2000.
Overall, it appears that the village has become more urbanized with the removal of farmland and other places. It is also clear that the number of apartments offering accommodation for people increased.
In 2000, a Restaurant and a Hotel were situated on the north side of the map. There were a few houses accross the Main street which were situated along the way. The southern-east part of the map was occupied by a farmland. There were a pub and a shoe factory in the middle of the map.
At present, the village has undergone significant changes. The farmland has been removed and replaced by houses to accommodate more people. The number of houses has increased on the west side of the map. The Restaurant and the Hotel have been converted into empty places. A new playground has been added next to the main street.
