The maps gives information about the transformation of library’s ground floor from 2001 to 2009. Overall, in the 2001, There was newspaper and periodicals section where located the east of the map,but by 2009, the library ground floor had switched drastically. Additionally, new films and DVDS section had been built instead of the newspaper and periodicals.
In 2001, the library limited selection of books.The entrance was located at the bottom of the map, featuring librarian desks with stairs to the right. Single-seated tables occupied the central area of the floor, besides that was the newspapers and periodicals section.The fiction section situated at the top of the map, next to the history section.
By 2009, the library ground floor had dramatically changed over the period. Although,the entrance area remained the same, but the new areas such as fiction, self help, kitchen and economics had been made instead of previous self help and history areas. Moreover,computers section had been built the right of the map. Where the fiction section was in 2001, there was now a children’s book section accompanied by dedicated children’s area
