The line graph shows changes in the sales of six important items in WeBuy from January to June in 2020. Overall, there was a considerable increase in the sales of books and movies, cleaning supplies and toiletries, medical supplies and food ad drinks with the last category mentioned dominating the graph for the better part of the period. While electronic products saw their sales drop significantly, the trend was different in clothing – after rising markedly, the sale rate went down its original point.
Both books and movies and food and drinks followed a similar pattern of growth. Starting at approximately 35,the sales in books and movies increased marginally to 55 thousands in March. After that it witnessed a period of stable increases from April to December with staggering 60.Sales in the latter items started at 15, a figure that then climbed to 45 in March.In the remaining period this figure leveled off.
The same scenario was also observed in the categories – cleaning and medical supplies. Their figures grew from the first month to February , reaching 10. This was followed by a further increases to 50.
The remaining categories bucked the foregoing trends. The sales for electronics decreased to a just about 37 in February, while clothing saw their sales went up markedly with 30. In the other months of the year the reverse was true for clothing sales. The amount of electronics reduced noticeably until the end of the period.
