The two pie charts compare the proportion of the main sources of energy for USA between 1980 and 1990
Overall, it is clear that the percentages of oil and natural gas were the highest in the first year while the percentage of hydroelectric power was the smallest
In 1980, Oil and natural gas were the7 highest percentage with 42% and 26% the most used to make energy for USA, this was followed by coal, at 22%. In first year the two figures( hydroelectric power and nuclear power )showed similar percentage with 5%
In 1990, the percentage of oil had declined to 33% but maintained the highest percentage, this was followed by coal, at 27%. The percentage of natural gas saw a decline of 1% in 1990. The hydroelectric power maintained the similar situation with 5% while nuclear power of energy had increased a slightly to 10% over a decade
