Advertising
Advertising in my opinion has several points of view.
Where advertising is informative and persuasive.
For Information: Advertising serves to provide information to consumers about available products or services. This includes details such as product features, pricing, purchase locations, and benefits offered. With this information, consumers can make better and informed decisions.
As Persuasion: Advertising also aims to influence consumers to buy the advertised product or service. This is done using various techniques such as highlighting product excellence, using testimonials, or creating emotional needs. The ultimate goal is to encourage consumers to make purchases.
Overall, ads often combine these two functions. They provide the necessary information while also trying to influence consumer purchasing decisions.
For example, I will buy a vehicle according to the cost and daily use.So I need information on the vehicle advertisement. Of course, the selection of the appropriate type and type of vehicle. After selecting the appropriate type and type of vehicle, then I will see the advertisement offered with prices, discounts and other additional bonuses. And this becomes a persuasive advertisement, so we are encouraged to buy the vehicle.
I agree with an informative ad that is clear, and genuine. not far-fetched and vague advertisements.
Sometimes there are also advertisements that are too excessive and do not match the advertised goods. This is what makes the ad too existing.
Advertising will be more attractive with models and testimonials from users of the advertised goods. So there are examples that can attract consumers.
Thus my explanation of advertising, its functions and benefits.
