The graph below shows the average monthly change in the prices of three metals during 2014.

The graph compares the average monthly change in prices of metals: Copper, Nickel and Zinc over a specified period.
It is clear that Zinc had the most highest price between January and December, while Nickel was particularly expensive from January to February. However, the price of Copper showed no significant fluctuation throughout the year.
In January, Nickel was in the first place with a six percent increase in price,which was almost triple the amount of price sold by the second highest priced metal, Copper. Over the following 12 monts,however, Nickel’s price figure fell by approximately 5 percent, whereas Zinc saw costs rise by a similar amount in January. By January, Nickel had become the market leader with costs reaching 4 percent.
However, by March Nickels’s price hit the lowes point, dropping from a positive percent to -3. Also, value of Copper remained relatively stable, fluctuating 2 percent and almost 2 percent, for the entire a year period.
